The Diocese of Mthatha is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Before 2006 it was known as the Diocese of St John’s,[1] and earlier still as that of Kaffraria.[2] The diocese currently has 96 parishes, and the current Bishop of Mthatha is Sitembele Tobela Mzamane.
